Bojan Bogdanovic was one among the Suns’ trade targets, but the Utah Jazz eventually sent him to the Detroit Pistons for Kelly Olynyk and Saben Lee. (According to Arizona Sports 98.7’s John Gambadoro, talks between Phoenix and Utah fell down because the Suns requested Jarred Vanderbilt be a part of the transaction.)
Crowder continues to believe that his time in Phoenix is limited despite the failure of the Utah trade.
The Arizona Republic’s Duane Rankin tweeted last night a list of things to watch at the Suns’ training camp, including “Will Jae Crowder or Cam Johnson start?” Crowder reacted with a tweet including the words, “99 WILL NOT BE THERE.!” (He removed the tweet soon afterwards.)
Does Crowder realize that a transaction is imminent? Does he imply that he will miss training camp while Phoenix negotiates a contract? Monday is Media Day for the Suns, followed by the start of training camp on Tuesday.
Since he posted the following tweet on August 1, rumors have circulated that Crowder desires a change of scenery. “”CHANGE IS INEVITABLE.. GROWTH IS OPTIONAL.!! I BELIEVE ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE… I WANNA CONTINUE GROWING.!””

Crowder spent the previous two seasons with the Phoenix Suns. In 67 games last season, he averaged 9.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.9 threes, and 1.4 steals (while shooting 39.9% from the field, 34.8% from three-point range, and 78.9% from the charity stripe).
In his 10-year NBA career, the 32-year-old has played for seven teams: the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, and Suns. In 25.3 minutes per game, Crowder has lifetime averages of 9.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.6 three-pointers, and 1.0 steal.
Crowder has shown that he can contribute significantly to a successful team, therefore a lot of contenders will likely chase him.
